Raluca continues Centrade-Cheil’s tradition serving as jury member in the European festival
Communication agency Centrade | Cheil announces the nomination of Raluca Gonzalez, Head of Planning, as jury member for the first round at EACA EURO Effies 2018, which will select this year’s finalists in one of the most prestigious European advertising festivals scheduled to be held from June 4 – 15, 2018.
The Euro Effies is an annual competition recognizing the most effective, multi-national communication campaigns in Europe, and validates the advertising industry’s effectiveness together with the client. Centrade | Cheil continues the tradition of having one of their key executives participate as juror, having previously been represented four years in a row by Mona Opran, COO and prior by Radu Florescu, CEO.

The 20 member, first round jurors will evaluate submitted campaigns based on quality criteria and select the finalists for the second (and last) deliberation round.
“Deliberation at Euro Effie is different because campaigns are not (all) known and, as a result, there is much less subjectivity. The magical thread connecting the four defining categories for quality in communications campaigns – Context & Challenge, Insight & Strategic Idea, Creative Work – Bringing the Idea to Life and Effectiveness (Results) – is very important; still, the most important aspect is the manner how results are demonstrated,” said Mona. “As such, the jurors’ professionalism and experience must rise to the challenge. Knowing that, we are more proud about Raluca’s participation this year.
