THE CHALLANGE:

We kicked off with several short TVCs, radio, and digital videos showing people’s reactions of utter disbelief when told that some of the things that made America famous were not actually invented by Americans (popcorn, the radio, blue-jeans, burgers, basketball, French fries).

Launching another banking app in a market already cluttered with banking apps and Fintech solutions. Proving that a small bank can do big things by launching a new banking app with superior UX in a market already cluttered with banking apps and mobile wallets.

On July 4th (Independence Day) we launched a full-length video manifesto on TV, Facebook and YouTube in which we stated our claim – the American Way is not always about being first, but always about being the best. And the new app from First Bank is a case in point.


THE INSIGHT

Inventing things is great, but true greatness is improving them to work smoothly and smartly for everyone.

THE IDEA

We did not invent the banking app, we just made it work better than anyone else’s, the American Way.

BRINGING THE IDEEA TO LIFE:

As a young nation, Americans took some of the things that were already invented and, thanks to their practical approach and competitive attitude, turned them into world bests. Proving that first is not about being the earliest but taking something to the next level.

A short history lesson in the American Way of taking good ideas and making them truly great.

THE RESULTS

400k website visits, 156k visits on the product page, 100k app downloads, 42% increase in sales vs first half of the year, and +5pp Share of Clients.
